North and South was originally aired on ABC in 1985. It was followed in 1986 by its likewise twelve hour sequel North and South Book II. The third in the trilogy, North and South Book III: Heaven and Hell, came nearly a decade later in 1994. The original was then repeated during one week in October 1988 and Book II in May and June on six consecutive Saturdays. Heaven and Hell has yet to be shown again. Recently The Family Channel has obtained the mini-series and has shown the first two parts on many occasions once in January-February of 1996 and again in the summer of '96. It has been shown a few times since then as well. This is my tribute to that great show!
I am working on making a lot of changes. Soon I hope to have more of the cast bios completed, a list of my favorite scenes, and a section about Springtime Chasse, my dance class and fellow N&S fans...check back often.
