Jews have long been associated with commerce and making money, just as the Japanese have recently become. In Family of Cops II Bronson is shown to brutally defend the Jewish name with violence if necessary. However, in Kinjite he is shown to hate the Japanese for taking over Los Angeles commercially which is basically what Jews have been associated with for hundreds of years. So if Charles Bronson were in Nazi Germany, and forced be an executioner at a concentration camp, would he protest the abuse of Jews like in Family of Cops II or would he be so ticked off at their stereotype of commercial success that he'd want to kill them like in Kinjite? Keep in mind that he killed several Nazi military men in Dirty Dozen. It must also be taken into account that he was forced to choose between killing them or face execution.
In DeathWish IV Bronson hates drugs and it prompts him to kill anyone related to the drug trade. Despite the fact he was forced to do it, it's obvious he enjoyed it and it became an obsession. Yet in Ten to Midnight he turns a blind eye toward the lab guy smoking pot after hours. Also, in The Evil That Men Do he is offered drugs in front of his "family" but not wanting to partake he simply asks for something the dealer won't have. Keeping this in mind, if Charles Bronson had a thirteen year old daughter and were to come upon a drug dealer pushing drugs on her, what would he do? It must also be considered that in Kinjite when a pimp proposes to Bronson that he should put his daughter on the street, Bronson responded with nachos to the face in disgust.
Charles Bronson was 47 in the Dirty Dozen, 51 in the Mechanic, 54 in DeathWish I and Hard Times. Harrison Ford was 47 in Indiana Jones (Last Crusade), 50 in Patriot Games, 53 in The Fugitive, and 55 most recently in Air Force One. If Charles Bronson and Harrison Ford got in a fight to the death, both at age fifty, who would win? What about if they both used equal weapons? If you don't know how old Bronson was in a movie you saw, check here. Remember that Bronson was born in 1920.
In The Mechanic Bronson is poisoned at the end by his protege. After violently struggling to resist the deadly effects, he falls to the floor and remains motionless for a few seconds with his eyes seeming to be crossed as if he were dead. I haven't seen a movie yet where mustached version (as he usually is) Bronson dies. Did Charles Bronson die at the end of the Mechanic or did he beat the odds and pull through leaving everyone to assume he's dead?
