These "garbies," played by Dick Miller and Robert Picardo are in almost all of Joe Dante's films. In case you didn't know, Joe Dante directed the film. So their appearances in the film is actually cameos. |
I've always noticed this, but apparently many didn't. When Art is snooping around by the Klopek's basement window, he finds a comb, runs his finger across the bristles, and sticks is in his back pocket. |
This one goes by quick so watch carefully. As Art runs in the Klopek's house to warn Rays that the Klopeks drove up, he runs by a sled. This sled was in Citizen Kane. A classic piece of movie history, just sitting in the Klopek's basement collecting dust and waiting to be blown up. This was brought to my attention by Jim Newman--good work! |
