Even More Did You Knotice!
Have you ever seen her? I never saw her until a few viewings ago. I always heard her voice but never saw her, I guess I was always looking at the house fire. | Okay, I've noticed this since my first viewing, but apparently many have not. Okay, here's what happens: Ray goes out to check for his paper and the stupid paper boy throws his paper hitting Ray in the gut. Ray then throws his cup of coffee at the kid. I know, I hear ya, this isn't something to be noticed--let me tell you what, if you've never noticed that, you need to whatch it some more--it is a really good movie! |
Did you know this guy wrote the movie? I think he deserves more credit than we give him. Sure, Joe Dante did a great job of directing, but he wrote it and the dialogue is the best part. Oh, by the way, his name is Dana Olsen. | This is just a wierd tree that goes by really quick--what kind of sybols are those. All I know is that the Klopeks probably had something to do with it. | This is black electrical tape holding the screen together after Landru jumped through it. Thanks to Ryan! |
I finally noticed that it is Felix the Cat on the tv. I think there are some other cartoons as well though. | This took me a while. It is a box of Gremlins cereal. Gremlins was directed by Joe Dante, had the garbies in it(as with every Dante flick), and was conducted by Jerry Goldsmith. | Whether you can tell it or not, this is a Star Wars lunch box (that is a tie-fighter) and it is in Ray's cellar. |
Mark has the bullet shell necklace on for the entire movie--even in his pajamas. | Those are missle shells holding up Mark's mailbox. Thaks to Pete for this one. His site is listed on my links page. | Is that a tattoo on Mark's leg? Maybe he got it when he was in Southeast Asia. It is certainly somthing--maybe it is garbage... |
I like how Ray acts at the Klopek's house--from how he asks how their drainage is to inhailing in the newspaper and spitting in it--but some great stuff comes out when he is having coffee. First, in the picture above, he just shoves the rag he wiped his hands on into the shelf behid him while looking up at Rube. | Next, when offered sugar substitute, he covers his cup with his had. | Also, he finds somthing in his coffee and gets it up onto his spoon and shakes it to get it off. I guess I just like small details like these. |
