European cuisine is pretty close to American style, except that they expect you to eat with your knife and fork backwards! This cooking style ranges from Haute Cuisine (those with French restaurants trying to clog your arteries) - to Family Style (where one price is all-inclusive) - to Specialty (where one can simply sample the modified staples of that particular cuisine). Trying out a new European restaurant is a lot less adventurous than a new Asian restaurant, because you will most likely recognize most of the ingredients, but at the same time, can help you develop a palate for old variations of now modern dishes, and thus be able to enjoy any type of new or old cuisine.
