I gave your URL to a friend that had a ten year old son that wanted to know what grandpa did in the 10th Air Force. The boy was so proud when he read the pages. This Web Site became so important to him that he shares it with his friends by saying this is
what my grandpa did during the war.
PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK as the stories of the fine men would not be forgotten.

My Father, Raymond F. Lacy, and Uncle
Harry (Merridith) Changnon both served in
Burma and flew the Hump. I believe my
father reached the rank of Captain. I also
know that he flew cargo planes and that
his was named the Betty Rae after my sister.
Dad passed away in 1985 so I would love to
get any information that you have on him or his
service record. My uncle Harry Changnon
flew B-17's and flew recon after the atom
bomb was dropped taking photos of the
damage. Please send me any thing you
know on either of them or just say hi.
My thanks and highest regards,
Brian F. Lacy

Great at last to find a site dedicated to the 10th Air Force. My father, Walter Dolan (who, before he changed his name, was Walter Dolinsky), served as a tailgunner in the 436th in the CBI. Would love to get in touch with anyone who knew him or at least
also served in the 436th at that time.

My dad served in the CBI, with the 10th. I am the Editor of a veterans newsletter for his old outfit, the 33rd Fighter Group. We have about 400 WW2 vets and families on the roster. I have also been a CBI buff for over 20 years, and have talked with or cor
esponded with literally 100's of CBI vets, a LOT from the 10th AF. Glad to see your site. I would like to link my CBI & 33rd Group sites to others. How do we do that? Thanks, George

Martin,
Your decision on how to handle the History Section is excellent. Other sites should follow your example. I'll return often to watch things grow.

I hope to have at least osme of the history of the 10Th Air Force up by Sunday Night. Have a LOT of material to download and then wade thru. The link pages are now in and are being added to almost daily.Hopefully I will be able to get to work on the photo
section and the sections for the units in the not too distant future. In the meantime keep checking back to see what's been added.

Subject: This Guest Book
Welcome the the 10Th Air Force Tribute web site. This site has only recently begun so pickings are a bit slim right now. I hope to be adding some links to other WWII web sites within the next few days, as well as get the Unit listing in. If you have mater
als to contribute (stories, photos, information about the 10Th and it's various units) feel free to send them to me at the above EMail address. Photos should be scanned in in .JPG format, and preferably be no larger than 640X480 in size. All submissions w
ll be acknowledged as to their source. Comments and suggestions for improvements, etc, should also be sent to the above EMail address. I want to make this a site that you will want to visit more than once, but can't do it without YOUR input.
