| Is a health-care facility located in the St. James Family Development Center . Staffed by Nurse Practitioners, it operates
weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm and has served more than 2600 Newark residents, church members and students of St. James Prep annually since it opened in
June 1999.
Under the auspices of St. Barnabas Healthcare System, the center specializes in comprehensive family health care, including women's wellness, gerontology and children's health care. It also serves as a referral center where annually more than 1000 people have been referred to shelters and social service agencies and 400 to substance abuse programs. Transportation is provided. |
