SLA research

University of Hawaii at Manoa
My interests in research regard mainly applied linguistics in the Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and Learning field. The research approaches I prefer are qualitative, as Discourse Analysis, Conversation Analysis, Pragmatics. In the past years, both at Verona University and at the Second Language Studies Department of Hawaii University, both as a Fulbright visiting researcher and MA Program student, I conducted some studies and developed on-line materials in the area of information technologies and second language education. The technologies I am most interested in are Internet and the web, webchat, and synchronous computer-mediated communication (CMC).
Here are some of my publications available on-line, conference presentations, and on-line language activities I developed. For more informations, please see my resume.
