The pict's on this page are captured from old video tape. . History behind the History: being historical in nature the items presented are old and their age shows. All images are about 1984 vintage. Keep in mind the age and possibly poor editing at that time we have little to work with. Seen these already? History page 2 is posted. |
About the pict's. These are rendered from old video tape and processed on a Macintosh. The pict files created are cut down to 256 colors and compressed to the jpg's you see here. No noticable content was lost. The source tape is Beta and the machine is very much in need of repair which pretty much allows capture of still images only. Plans were to create QuickTime movies (oh, goody home movies) but without a reliable tape machine this will be delayed. Service is underway but with the condition of the video tape in the equation, who knows time will tell. |
Again, thanks Greg. These things are great for kids and hams alike. Notice the 70's silk screened background! Now are we talking tacky, not just poor taste but green poor taste. There is a entire essay that could be written on this background alone. |
There has to be another story here? With these two clowns it was a great thing the camera was tripod mounted. At this point in the evening hand-held photography would not be possible. |
Remember Saturday night TV?
|
With comic relief from Ramsey the two on camera couldn't stay straight faced any longer. The camera did not have a complete white balance control so we tried different temperatures of artificial light. How many TV lights does a guy have on hand on any given day? The answer is none but we got by anyway. |
*READY for more? More visual abuse?
The dance was on. What brief visit with a camera in the house would be complete without a few hams acting up? With Cindi Lauper playing at a repetition level only kids can understand the hamming began. |
The hamming continues. Accompanyment is inevidable, "You have to sing along, Dad!" |
The story goes outdoors in the back yard the following morning.
Look at me! Is it on? Look at that back yard, hardly any shrubbery or trees, no garage & pleasant memories." |
Stories have to be told. With Karin speaking there is Tara and Emily waiting for a turn at story telling. |
From the Play House. Many a day was spent in and around THE play house. |
Sometimes stories are a little more serious. |
Duet Friend Emily and Sherri get it going (I think music was playing once again). |
The story goes outdoors to gramma's.
The great Escape Karin and cousin Kevin are breaking in or was it out? |
More are on the way. Checkout the History page 2 for more.
