The pict's on this page are captured from recently scanned images. The images are a few days old as you will see and the second one is a composite. I have not yet learned when the originals were taken nor where. The subjects are mentioned in the captions below each. Keep in mind as in the previous image pages, my inexperience with this stuff and my html is evidence to that. |
About the pict's. These are rendered from actual photographs and processed on a Macintosh. The pict files created are cut down to 256 colors and compressed to the jpg's you see here. No noticable content was lost however they appear slightly different when viewed in this manner. The scanner was borrowed as a very generous offer from The Moores. Thanks Doug! Now I just have to get the thing to dance another jig. |
The Gray's (Maternal ancestor's)
The above left to right: BACK row (standing) James, Roy, Bob, Malcolm, George
FRONT row (seated) Emma, Rosetta (my G Grandmother, maternal), Rosetta (nee Pain, G G Grandmother), William (G G Grandfather), May
The Moffatt's (Maternal ancestor's)
The above left to right: BACK row (standing) Dave, Ayton, Maggie, Sam, George
MIDDLE row (seated) Jim, Andrew, Annie (nee Grady), May (Mary)
FRONT row (sitting) Waldon, Annie)
From the first photo (the Gray's) Rosetta (front row second from left) married Ayton (second photo, back row, second from left) and hence we begat the Moffatt's as I know them today. This is of course my Mother's side of the family and my father's side photo's are rare, but I'm working on it.
Earlier photos When and where? This is a crude first attempt at image manipulation using a fax machine and dithering. Photo is of Ayton Moffatt. |
Earlier photos Again when and where? Another first attempt at image manipulation using a fax machine and dithering. Photo is of Rosetta Gray. |
Earlier photos Again when and where? Another first attempt at image manipulation using a fax machine and dithering. Photo is of Rosetta Pain. |
Your humble host Got to have a picture of me! Copy and take this where ever you go, carry it proudly and when they ask, "Yes it's, it's a picture of HIM". The host of D2M. Sadly I was not at my photogenic best during a job at work. |
More are on the way. Checkout the History page (the first) for more gripping photos. When you are done there History page (the second) is waiting your approval.
