"A day, A Life, A Love"
By: Michael Young

To spend a summers day with you,
Life lush with green happiness,
The sound of laughter and play,
Those who toil in the fields,
The warm solace of the sun,
Feeding the fruits of this world with life,
Bringing vitality to my love.

To spend an autumn evening with you,
The sun setting over golden dew,
And the leaves changing to warm hues,
Of red and orange and brown, a must,
All with the fresh scent of dusty  musk,
And I cuddle with my love.

To spend a winter night with you,
Holding each other tightly,
Providing warmth to each other,
An eerie blue luminescence invades the sky,
As the moon lights a crystal landscape,
In light as bright as the morning sun,
I take solace beside a warm fire with my love.

To spend a spring morning with you,
Awakening to a fresh spring rain,
The love in your eyes,
The smell of perfumed gardens,
Wafting around the room,
Announcing life has returned after a long winter sleep,
A chill in the air holds on before retreat knowing,
love and the day brings warmth with the rising sun,
A lay together with my love.

this is my life with you.
Every day, every evening, every night,
Every blessed morning.

Blessed because you are alive,
And I am with you.
My Love!
