Am I?

By: Michael Young

If I wrote and sang a ballad for you.
Would you listen with your soul.

If I painted a landscape for you to behold,
Would you walk amongst the wooded groves.

If I planted a garden of scented flowers so sweet,
would savor the smell of the perfume.

If I sewed a dress of the finest silk,
would you feel it's softness with your mind.

If I cooked  a meal for the palate of queens,
would you hunger with your spirit.

If I though thoughts of adventure and you,
would you think of me.

If I asked your hand in marriage,
If I put my future in you hands,
If I do these things.

Would you marry me.
