So, I guess you want to know a little about EMM386's Home Page, huh? Well, far be it from me to deny you any information...
My homepage was started on June 15, 1996. For a while, I just did little pointless things to help me learn HTML. My first real project was my music, followed closely by my library. My Star Wars Quiz appeared several months after that. Finally, only a short time ago, I started my first Interactive Story.
Believe it or not, however, my page has advanced a lot more than that. I've got a page about EMM386, an FAQ, a page concerning updates, and even my own BBS! My index page has been completely revised three times to simplify navigation (though I've kept the same colors! ;-). My visitors per day have gone from about .25 to about 20.
Everything is continuing to grow. This page is updated almost daily during the summer, and weekly or so the rest of the year. Many of the changes are quite small--another paragraph of instructions, removal of outdated links, updates to my Star Wars Quiz--but they're all there. I see no signs of slowing down in the near future; on the contrary, I have become somewhat of a veteran in HTML use and I have about 15 projects that are halfway completed!
Of course, I also have to have some technical data... This sight is best viewed with the lowest resolution possible on the earliest version of Netscape you can find. You're computer should be as poorly equipped as possible, and modems above 14.4 Kbps are banned (9600 bps is preferred). Why, you ask? Well, first, because that's what this page was originally designed with. Secondly, any page requiring more than that is just trying to show off some fancy graphics! However, the most important thing that you can remember when viewing this page is...
Also, I'm proud to be an active member in the...
And finally, you can rest assured that you will never have to worry about those "Under Construction" icons when you come here.
Anyway, I guess that's all for now. If you were looking for a bio (yeah right, I know :-), you're out of luck...just remember to keep coming back, because you'll never find a page that's updated so often and still manages to look so sloppy! :-)
If you haven't been lulled asleep by my monologue, go ahead and go back.
