Where do good projects go when they die? Why the project graveyard of course. Which is the same place really crappy projects go when they are killed! ;-)

Though I worked on all these projects, they were not all started by me. Take a moment and browse some of the great ideas that never quite made it...
  • Plan Belize - okay, stop emailing me you narrow minded freaks (you know who you are). The whole scheme of moving to Belize with 3 wives was a JOKE. Obviously some of the peeps that happen upon my website have zero humor and I am tired of all the email from the lunatic fringe who thought that 1) plan belize was real, and 2) they could convince me it was wrong/immoral.
  • Warped Studios! - Warped Studios was a company that I co-founded with Andy Adamczak (there were many others such as Mark McGinley, John Buell (aka The Suit) and John Marcisek involved as well). Andy and I figured it would be pretty cool to write games but then he was working for a startup and I for a Web Marketing Agency so time became an issue. We produced 4-5 project documents/game designs, numerous business plan docs, a nice SDK (that is still in a source repository), hundreds of megabytes of 3d models and textures, some sound and a couple demo's that were never quite playable by anyone but us.   • Intel Distributed MOO SDK and Moondo - two of the technologies I worked on during my stint at Intel Architecture Labs. Almost all the folks that worked on these projects became disgruntled and left Intel back in '97/98. The source code currently withers into dust on some unlabeled backup tape somewhere (at least that is what I picture happening to it, it's real fate is probably more horrible and sad than anyone could imagine).
  • Homebuilt Electric Car - building an electric car (even doing a conversion) takes a lot of time and requires some skills and tools I don't have (and don't really want to have). Let's not even mention working with noxious materials I'd rather not risk my health with (fiberglass, among others). Still I got a bunch of cool books and met some really neat people during the whole endeavour. :)
