This page is about video game emulation. Emulation is using a program on your computer to run programs for another computer, machine, or even video game console. There are even emulators for TI calculators. The programs or games are called (roms). Which means Read Only Memory because they are a copy of the rom on a game cartridge. Dont worry about how you copy a rom to your computer because many people have already done this and have put them on web pages. It is illegal to download roms you dont own but none of the companies care because they dont make the games anymore. Roms are easy to find using any search engine.
There are emulators for many older systems such as the Atari and Colecovision. You can also find SNES and Sega Genesis emulators but they are slow on my Pentium 100. Another emulator not on this page is called MAME. It runs arcade games from the late 70s and 80s. It stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. You should definetly check it out.
