What you need to know about the internet.

The TI-92 is Texas Instruments most advanced Graphing Calculator. It has a 10 mhz Motorola 68000 microprocessor and runs on four double A batteries. It has 70 kilobytes of memory and a screen 240 pixels by 128 pixels. It has a full QWERTY style keyboard, and with its advanced microprocessor supports such features as 3D graphing and interpolation. It also has an advanced graphical interface and programming language, yet presently is not approved for use on SAT tests. Like all TIs it has a programming language similar to basic and qbasic.

Fargo is the name of a shell that is used to run programs written in assembely language on the calculator. Like ZShell for the TI-85 it is much better than ti-basic. Fargo is the work of Rob Taylor, Dan Eble, and David Ellsworth. The current version of Fargo is 0.1.15 and it is currently compatable with all ROM versions except the newly released 2.1. The development team of Fargo is currently working on a new version that is compatable with all versions of ROM. To find out what version of ROM, Read Only Memory, you have hit [F5] then [DIAMOND] then [(]. You can download Fargo at my Fargo Page.

The way to transfer data between a calculator and computer is with a graph link. A graph link is a cable Texas Instruments sales that connects to your computer. It is absolutely necessary to own. Click here for information on purchasing a graph link and its software. With your graph link you can send programs you download on the web to your calculator.
