The TI-85 is Texas Instruments second most advanced Graphing Calculator. It has a 6 mhz Zilog Z80 microprocessor and runs on four tripple A batteries. It has 28.5 kilobytes of memory and a screen 128 pixels by 64 pixels. It has its own programming language similar to basic and qbasic.
ZShell is the name of a shell that is used to run programs written in assembely language on the calculator. Anything can be written in assembely at speeds much faster than ti-basic. The current version of ZShell is 4.0 and it is currently compatable with all ROM versions. To find out what version of ROM, Read Only Memory, you have hit [2nd], [Mode], [Alpha] then [S].
