Someday, these may be a pleasure to recall . . .

 What makes a Prepian?

An ever changing mosaic of black and white,
Of good and bad, of unique superlatives and
        mediocrities,
Of diverse capacities and imperfections.
                                        Aspirations.
Not a gaudy awkward painting,

nor a dream never dreamt about.
Not a coarse hard rock,
nor a simple mechanical masterpiece . . .
                                                but. . .
a vibrant, throbbing --- tangible ligament of life!
A ligament with countless outlets for feeling
and expression all its own.
All these . . . churned up from fragments of nature
        in an individual.
Each Prepian is a Prepian by identity.
Each is a Prepian.
But -- each is not the Prepian.
For, the Prepian is but only Himself . . .

 Hi Manny!

As far as anecdotes are concerned, do you recall that time when we were in
first year in Miss Laurinti's class?  It was her first year teaching math
and she spoke with such a soft voice and such a heavy accent that nobody
seemed to understand she was trying to say.  Liz, you and I were sitting in
the back of the room.  Out of boredom we started to spin a bottle for truth or
consequence and it stopped pointed at you.  Sabi ni Liz, "O sigue Manny,
manggulo ka." You immediately stood up and exclaimed "M'am!"  "Yes, Manulo,
what is it?"  Then you just scratched your head and replied, "Nothing M'am."
Ang galit ni M'am. Sabi niya, "MANULO, STIP OUT!!!" Tayo ka naman at lumabas
ng kwarto. Tiyempo naman dumarating si Ceralde. "What are you doing out here?
Go back to your room!"  Keep quiet si M'am and you went back to your seat.
NAKALUSOT!!!!

O sigue na muna, back to my chores.

Hi Inday!

Isusumbong ko kayo kay Ms. Laurente. Kayo pala ang promotor.

I've already forgotten that.  But, when, it slowly come back to me,
I started to chuckle.  O, sige na nga--giggle. Like what you and Liz
must have been doing.

Thank you! Loved the story.

Feeling young
ako pag narecall ko eh.

Does everybody in this picture remember the anecdote above? How come Liz is not here? And Miss Ella Laurente is not on the faculty page either!
Larry Pay, look at you!
