These songs, in spite of their romantic conventionalities, revealed an aura of the truth, an understanding of human fate, and a firm, uncompromising moral position. They brought to mind the absolute value of each human life and the right of every person to be himself; they celebrated kindness and freedom, love and hope; laughed at stupidity, disdained falsehood and rejected violence.Every word in his songs sounds fitting and exact, doesn't strain against the adjacent words, doesn't rattle in vain, but knows its value and knows that it belongs to a poetry that is more than just poetry. It is a word of a song that must fly on its small wings over a huge country.
