The Space Monkey

Space Monkey, two identical 35 x 22 steel monkeys were constructed on-site, during the demolition of a South Side industrial complex, December 1993. Six people completed the sculptures at the abandoned Eichleay building, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The pieces were then exhibited at other locations: Zenith Emporium January 1994, The clock tower of the former Duquesne Brewery in April 1994, the former Goodrich building in Akron, Ohio in September 1994, and the Senator Heinz Regional History Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, December 1996.
