On that time of year
the beginning
when the seconds go -the cheers
the date is 1/1
it's finally New Years!

All Christmas presents are undone
vacation is over
no more fun???
of course not
New Years day has come

How we love that celebration
the day after
last year's Christmas vacation
we all love

three pairs of socks

6 homework passes
