Ode to Janitors

Janitors keep our school clean
though some like the Billits are mean
and even though the bathroom still smells
all the school is, is a prison cell
so I guess that is what it should smell like

For the many years of service
of holding together my shoes
daily labor
when shoes come loose

For work and unity
a binding together
a job highly admired
despite the weather

For your help
for you labor
for your work
I award you this shoe laces of the year award

Salute to Zippers

Zippers are really neat
they shut you clothes to keep the heat
and when they get stuck you shouldn't care
just go buy another pair

Who invented the zipper anyway?
and how much did he intend for us to pay?
I would do anything to meet this guy
even fly to the sky
and if I ever met this man
I will remember the zipper as long as I can
