i took a very long break in working on my web page this summer, but now i'm back in full swing. i hope that you enjoy the changes in layout on my site. if not, too bad. here's an update on my life:

where are you?
i'm currently living in tampa, florida with my friend, draco, three cats (bean, sebastian, oedipus)... three kittens that we are fostering, and a dog (anubus). we live in a very small house (more like a cabin) on a one acre piece of wooded and shady land. if we were trying to sell the place, we would call it "cozy," but i really like it; and i especially enjoy living on my own! if you want my address or new phone number, please email me.

what are your most recent goals/hopes?
my ultimate plans right now (keep in mind that these are subject to change rather frequently and without any
prior notice!) are to start up a metaphysical bookstore somewhere in or near tampa with internet access to customers, etc, and a litt'l coffee shop or something. we were also thinking of having half the book store be a cat specialty shop, complete with gourmet cat food, tuna flavored water, and all sorts of cat toys and paraphanalia. we have decided to call it "black cat's path."
in the nearer future, i'm working on buying a nice computer with internet access so that i can start making web pages on the side. hopefully this will boost my income enough that i can actually save some money. (living paycheck to paycheck is not my idea of a good time!) so, uh, hey, if you're interested in having a web page, please contact me! i'll be happy to help you make one.
i have decided that i'm going to try to find a place in the carolinas to live, (this is far in the future) so that we will have plenty of space and forest for ourselves, Bean, his new friends, a couple of servals (my favorites!!), and possibly a snow leopard or cougar. for now, my next goal is to get a car and get back to school. yes, i fianally got my damned driver's license.

are you in school or working?
i'm not in school right now, but i am going to school in the future. it all depends on when i can afford to hold down a job and go to school at the same time, all while keeping my sanity intact.
as for working...i have a job at a vet's office, this time at a place called ehrlich animal hospital. i'm basically the kennel manager and grooming assistant, which means that i won't have to worry about putting animals to sleep anymore. and, hey, i'm about to get a well-deserved raise....

what's your relationship status?
i'm still living in sin with a man i'll call draco. we've bee fighting lately, so i'm thinking about kicking his butt out. but other than that, he's doing alright...he's still trying to get a job (the main focus of our arguments) and making good grades at school.
his biggest dream was to get a degree in veterinary medicine, but recently he has been having some doubts. so now he's thinking of majoring in psych and then seeing where that takes him. his plans right now are to become a counselor for troubled teens.

hardly. i've bounced a couple checks recently and am wondering how in the hell i'm going to be able to live for the next couple years. this living stuff is not all it's cracked up to be. in fact, i think that i would love to be commited right about now. wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to worry about where our next meal is coming from?

as of april, i have my own bookstore... a place where you can order books that i have selected for you through a partnership with amazon.com. check it out! (i get paid for each book that you order... consider it a charity cause.) i have finally made my own cheesy web ring... the ring of kajs. but unless your name is kaj, or you're obsessed with people named kaj and want to see all of their web pages, it's not very interesting.
this page will be updated rather frequently (if the computer will allow it), so if you ever want to see if i'm still alive, you might want to bookmark it! and of course, always feel free to email me, and i'll always try to email you back.
