TIPS & QUIPS

places-icon.gif (492 bytes)Now, how do we know how good a dance will be, where and how to get a dance partner, what to wear.....

Here's a set of stories from our own and our friends experiences on the dance floor.

Balikbayan tales from visiting Pinoys and their foreigner friends

Why more women dance.  We've always wondered why our men would rather drink and watch from the sidelines.

Dancing ain't just a whim. You bet!!! It's learned, practiced and deliberate.

Dancing and Business Exchanges. We can't help but do business with fellow dancers. Better to work with people of like mind, right?

How to choose a dance place. Always a problem for new dancers and visitors from abroad.

Dressing Up for Dancing   Dressing up for a night of dancing has recently been an issue following the exposure of too much leg, tangas and cleavages on television and on the dance floor. Seems good taste is the best policy.

Dealing with other dancers on the floor. In spite of mishaps and some annoyances, dancing in the many dance places can still be pleasant and memorable. Learn from the experiences of other guest to make the most of the situation.

Where and how to get a DI. Ballroom dancing is partner dancing. So if your hubby or boyfriend refuses to dance, you can also invite another friend or hire a dance partner.

The Cost of Dancing Out. In these trying times, do we really have to give up our favorite past time?
