Welcome to the Dan page, a consortium of information on all things Dan. I have included this site in order to satisfy those people who insist that a web author have some sort of personal homepage. Here it is. To be honest, I don't really have much that I want to do with this site; not yet. Go ahead and consider it to be still under construction.

These pages have been created with the help of the HTML Assistant PRO 2, SE. This whole business of learning HTML was actually kind of easy. I've recently undertook the task of teaching myself JavaScript, but so far, most of it is way beyond me. It reminds me too much of high school algebra! However, I did figure a few things out. The main page has a JavaScript sequence that displays a new quote every hour. The banners were created with the Windows^Ž Paintbrush accessory, and polished up with a shareware graphics editor, whose name escapes me. The majority of the graphics included within these pages were gathered at The Rocket Shop.

A few things about Dan

Well, Gosh...
Dan , (ahem!) I mean, I am one hell of a guy. Ask anyone. I have been making up stories of one kind or another all of my life. Some of them I've written down. The rest....well some stories are not ready to be told. Especially the ones that are based on real life.

I'm not much of a musician, but I've been playing Guitar for about a year and a half. I recently aquired a Fender 12-String acoustic, and have fallen in love with the sound. I consider myself to be an adept Vocalist to boot, and perhaps will one day be a part of a working band. My musical taste is aimed toward the acoustic guitar, and how it is used in Rock and Blues. My apologies to fans of country music, for I have yet to hear and C&W that was both original and good. My favorite music comes from a band called Love and Rockets. After that, I love the music of CAKE, a band that will go a long way, indeed.
One last group that I truely admire, who, alas, has more or less split up, the world-famous-in-Fresno, Dead Pirates Society.

The problem with being as incredibly wonderful as myself, is that there are so many demands on your time. So, what can I tell you about Dan...uh, myself? Well, I am a Paramedic in the city of Fresno. While I am new to fresno, I have been involved in Emergency Medical Services for more than five years, mostly in Sacramento, California. It is good work, and deep down, I love it. Due to the nature of work that is involved in EMS, it seems that most people who do it must love it. How could you do that sort of work if you weren't somehow drawn to it?
