MAGGIE M-G

The Forbidden City

So many people in so many buildings,
And yet from above the all look so small.
The Emperor, Empress, princesses and princes,
All lived in that town. Who ever came
from the outside the wall was not welcomed
there for they were no importance
to the Emperor.

Deer Enclosed

Deer enclosed in an empty mountain.
Look as far as you want but not to see a man.
If you listen very carefully you can hear
the sound of a man's voice. The sun reflects
shadows as you enter the deep forest, and again
the sun shines on the green moss upon a rock.

I See Something Beautiful

I see the sun rising with the birds tuning in.
I see a deer prancing, a rabbit jumping and
now everyone has woke up and is
hurrying around. It is night and slowly the
night animals start flying, prancing and crawling.
Finally it is dawn and only the bugs are out.

I Am

I was shy as a linx.
Now I am as bold as a bear.
People see me as a joyful, hopping bunny rabbit.
I really am an energetic, active, happy red fox.
I am something to be loved.
I will be a dancing unicorn.
