Comments: A quasi repeat of the first show
with several misfires. It's the only time Serene does a Bobby Sherman song,
dancing with the opened 3 foot cover/poster that came with the Here Comes
Bobby album. No one's impressed. He also changes some of the words to "Downtown"
to promote tourism in Tempe, which is also pretty lame. That version hails
from a David MacCallum album.
This show marks the first appearance of a fave prop, the Ten Commandments, with Serene mimicking the Elvis Costello video for "Everyday I Write the Book" right down to borrowing some girl's glasses in the audience. " You And What Army" is from the same Serene Dominic rehearsal tape as "Death of Me" and has never been professionally recorded.
"Volare" is from an album by RAOUL MAYNARD
& His Strolling Mandolins.
