As many of you know, we ran a contest in conjunction with our April 1998 Basement Jam session. Our fans voted for their favourite song just like they were real music producers, and we promised to post the winner on the Sound Bites page.

Well.

You all picked "Aussie and Harriet" to win. What's the matter with you people? That song sucks the chrome off a bumper hitch! The singer sounds like a rutting elk! You should have told us to keep our day jobs! (We did. By the way, the Lads actually work as professional lion tamers during the day. It pays the bills.)

Right. The contest is off. We'll be our own music producers, thankyou very much. Off you go then.

Formal Apology

On the Sound Bites page, we had posted the song "Arctic Skies" under the title "Artic Skies". It was spelled that way for three whole months. We've been quite strict with the person responsible, but can't go into the details as this is a family site.
