Multi-Use Assault Weapons System (MUAWS)
The MUAWS consists of:
- An aluminum Lower receiver, which contains the fire control components (which are in themselves a separate, removable module.)
- A variety of shoulder stocks (Ranging from a simple plug at the rear of the receiver, to vastly complicated "sniper" shoulder stocks a la PSG-1)
- A magazine well with magazine catch (these can be fabricated to accept any magazine in nearly any caliber)
- Upper receiver with bolt and bolt carrier (caliber dependant).
- Barrel and gas system (Caliber dependant, no gas system if the configuration calls for manual or blowback operation).
- Hand guard, with R.I.S accessory rails (pump if manually operated)
- Sighting systems (ranging from simple range adjustable iron sights to variable power scopes.)
These components can be mixed and matched in a manner reminiscent of the vaunted Lego block to create the weapon YOU want, like a 12.5 inch barrel SAW with folding stock and grenade launcher.
