Welcome to my anime/manga section. Are you familiar with anime/manga? If you don't, let me give you an introduction. Anime is basically means Japanese Animation. Manga basically means "irresponsible pictures" it's a term for Japanese comics. This type of animation has become my favorite since I was 7 years old.
My first anime is Voltus V. It's a story about 5 people who are trying to save the earth from alien invasion. They ride 5 ships that can be combined into a giant robot. I don't think the animation exists anymore.
I like to use the term animation instead of cartoon. The word cartoon has that child stuff feeling into it. Japanese animation is superior to normal Disney animation or other type of animation in many ways. Japanese animation has very cool story line, sometimes the bad guys wins unlike Disney's cartoon/animation where good guys and bad guys are well defined and good guys always wins. Japanese animations has a VERY WIDE range of topics, from sci-fi, which their best trait, real life problem, drama, romance, comedy. Their drawings are unique and different compared to other type of animations. Japanese animations have storylines and plots and character development unlike american cartoons making it more superior than most american cartoons I know. It shows when DIC imported Sailor Moon, they just don't care about storylines and plots which were perfectly built-in into the series and destroy everything, read my Sailor Moon section for more details.
