  Macross. To some people this series is better known as Robotech. Macross is not Robotech! Macross is the original series produced in Japan whereas Robotech is a rip off version of Macross and it was produced in America. If you have not watch Macross, I strongly encourage you to watch it, the picture quality is better and you will be amazed how much stuff that has been cut off from the original series. I saw Macross in one of the television network in Indonesia when I went back for holiday. Unfortunately it was almost finish when I get the chance to see it :( I'm looking for someone who can lend me the whole series. The story is about human race trying to survive war between human race and zentradi. Excellent story line and action and the romance is touching. A Classic, a must for anime viewer.
