This summer we had a lot of fun. We went to the cottage a few times. We visited Joel at the beach in Ogunuit and we drove to Southern New Jersey and visited Lisa, Glenn & Rebecca. On that same trip, we stopped and visited with Chris' Aunt Joan. We also had a nice weekend at Tanglewood. To end ut summer, in the middle of September, we went with Becky & Andy (Paul had to work over the weekend), we went to the Cape.
It turns out Evan is a pretty good traveler. He likes playing in the water, as long as it's not too deep or too wavy. He likes throwing rocks in the water and playing in the sand. (All the usual kid stuff.) Early in the summer, we discovered Evan likes "Peter and the Wolf". Overall he has pretty good taste in music - which helps all of us on long car trips.
Early in the summer, Evan learned how to use the potty BUT he doesn't want to. He'll go to the potty before bedtime, otherwise an offer to go to the potty is met with the same enthusiasm as an offer to walk over hot coals.
