It's been a while since I've written in this thing. Over two months have passed without me writing.  I thought I would catch you up on some things that have taken place in my life over the past few months, and give you heads up on what to expect out of me in the next few. I apologize for the bad grammar, I'm just putting my thoughts.

My family hosted an orphan from Belarus for six weeks this summer. It was a blessing to spend those weeks (well the one's that I was actually home) with her.  Her name was Olga and she was nine years old.  It was amazing to see her reaction with the technology and the 'junk' that we have here in America.  She was amazed by the television and would sit and watch Disney movies all night long.  Despite the fact she couldn't speak much English, and the fact I know little Russian......we communicated fine. If she was to stay for 2 more weeks she would have been speaking English fluently. I await her arrival again next year.

On the music end of things I was very busy traveling all summer. It was great meeting a lot of new people and it's great that I am able to keep in touch with them.  There are new pictures up from some of my travels over the summer.

Okay, so the big news.....this is the first public announcement of this online...so feel honored.  The Get Real Worship Rally is now based under KOG (Kingdom of God) Ministries.  It's been really exciting how God has blessed us over this past summer.  It all started when we planned the rally, and how it was going to work this coming year. We've put together a worship band and we're touring this year around the area twice a month.  We've purchased a mega sound system, digital soundboard, a total of 2000 watts......it's very sweet!

So with that planned, we were pursued by a local church who was going to build a new facility on some empty land. They felt led not to build a church, but to build a youth center built.  Greg, Stephen, and I have talked about the idea of building one in the community.  Well they contacted them about running it and all that cool stuff. So the new $2.5 million youth center will be ran by KOG Ministries.

A new website for the Rally, and KOG Ministries will be up soon.  It will discuss more in depth what we're doing. But this was just a little preview. I'm off to grab a bite to eat. As always, many blessings!
