Rules for Online Conduct for Chat rooms and Discussion forums

This service is open to survivors of sexual abuse, rape and domestic violence and there family and friends.
There is no sex talk or obscene language allowed in the rooms or discussion forums.
The moderated chat room is not open for general talk. The moderators full control of the room and all topics.
All moderators are survivors. THEY ARE NOT TRAINED COUNSELORS.

TALKING IS THE FIRST STEP TO HEALING

By using this Service, you agree that you will not post any of the following material in Chat rooms, bulletin boards, or other forums ("posting"): Material which defames, abuses or threatens others. Statements that are bigoted, hateful or racially offensive. Material that advocates illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them. Unauthorized copyrighted material. Material that contains vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images. Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation. Statements or posting which violate the above terms will be deleted from posting upon discovery. Users who violate the Terms of Service will receive a warning from the webmaster that the User has committed a violation After one or more warnings, depending on the nature of the violation, The webmaster at its sole discretion may terminate User's chat room privileges. User agrees that use of any or every part of the service is entirely at user's own risk.User specifically acknowledges that S.A.A.B. is not liable for the defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other Users or third-parties and that the risk of injury from the foregoing rests entirely with the User.

All U.S. citizens (including the moderators) are required by law to report any suspicion of risk of child abuse. If we, or the moderators, believe that a child is at risk of being abused, has already been abused, or that someone who previously abused children is still a threat, we have no choice but to immediately make every effort possible to report it to the police.

.If someone's life is in danger, we will attempt to report it. This applies to cases of both suicide and homicide.

Users of the chat room understand that the moderators alone are responsible for his/her actions, the moderator is not an employee or agent of S.A.A.B and is a survivor not a trained counselor. S.A.A.B assumes no responsibility. The User understands and agrees that although the moderator was accessed through S.A.A.B, S.A.A.B cannot predict the moderators behavior or performance and only the User can assess the competence and appropriateness for the User's needs. The User also understands that she/he takes full responsibility for the decision to access the moderator through the chat room. S.A.A.B. can not guarantee the honesty, quality, reliability, or performance of the chat moderators
