Rachel - Gary this really is a great page. I am sure that it gives support and help to survivors of this abuse. I pray that women affected by this will gain help from your page. This is a great resource for many abused.Keep up the excellent work Susanne Marie- I was so glad to find your web page. I am glad to find a place for the support that I need right now .Bless you all, you are the answer to my prays Iris Robinson - I am myself a person that has been abused sexually. I am just now trying to face all of it. By looking through all of these web pages is where I am starting. I am not sure if this is the right way but it is a start for me. I want to thank you for caring. Not many people now a days seem to care. They just look at it as if it happens to everyone and it is no big deal. It does not matter who you are, or how many people it has happened to. It hurts just the same. Thank you. Annie- I think what you are doing is somthing great. every day I work with victims of violent crimes.major crimes and they need a special place to come and talk and just be themselves. this is wonderful Annie Sandy - just stopped in to see how many changes you have made since my last visit. The page in memory of JACKIE looks wonderful. I am also going to add something to my page as soon as I get time. I miss her smile everyday when I go to work. All of the changes look good keep up the good work. Oh by the way.. I will be happy to put your banner on my page if that is ok with you.Have a great day *S*. Scott - Your page is very imformative about rape cases and statistics but is also very bias when it comes to all men. Amy - I think you have helped a lot of people with the stories and comments that have been shared with everybody. Good luck everybody with everything that has happened and just remember that GOD is here! Beth Fisher - Hi! My name is Beth and I am a Domestic Violence Survivor. I wrote my personal story on my web site and was searching the webring index looking for a Domestic Violence web ring to join to get my story out there to help others. I want women to take the blinders off (come out of denial) and realize when they are being abused and that they can get out and become happy. I found most of the rings supposedly dedicated to "abuse" are filled with sites that have nothing to do with the topic. I have been date raped, emotionally and physically abused and I am a definate survivor. Now at 37, I am finally happy and in a healthy, secure relationship. I have protected my kids (teenagers now) and am a fantastic mother. I feel I can help others do the same. I found your site by accident and I'm glad I did. I would love to help you help others. If you are starting a webring I would like to join. I don't want to retype my story, but you can link to it on your Domestic Violence story pageathttp://rampbbs.com/public/beth/domestic.htm. Thank you for your wonderful site. I am serious that I would like to help. WarM FuZZieS, Beth Peter E. Hector, Jr. - I work as a counselor for delinquent adolescent females in a residential facility (Eagle Village Inc.) in Hersey, MI. The girls are referred to us by the court system for delinquency and approximately 99% of them have been sexually abused--some severly molested and raped over a long period of time. I spend most of my time focusing on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I am dismayed not only by the frequency and severity of abuses but also by the lack of knowledge and apparent lack of concern (almost bordering on acceptance) for the ladies. Since females almost always act in against themselves in our culture little attention is paid to them. They simply perpetuate all that they have learned about relationships in their adult life. I could go on and on (and on and on), much about which I'm sure you have heard before. Please be aware of the number of young ladies who suffer quietly from a life of abuse that putrifies the spirit and send messages to them--maybe a special section for teenagers. I like to use poems and other true life expressions to help these girls to realize the extent of abuse in our culture and let them know that others understand and ways that they have transcended their own abuse. If there is anything that I can do to help your efforts, please let me know Colette - I am trying to survive same sex and gang rape and I'm going through a rough time at the moment.
