Gods Arms

When life seems to hard

And the pain is to deep

Close your eyes

And God you will see

His loving arms

Wrapped all around

Your body is safe

Safe from all harm

Feel his love

See his brightness

Within

Tell Him you love

Him, he forgives

All sin

When life seems to hard

close your eyes and pray

To the one that loves

You

In His arms you will stay

Carry

His Angels

His Angels he sent

Just like He said

To watch over me

By them I am led

Their light's all around me

They help me to shine

Their loving kindness

Help ease my mind

The fear is not always

Gone day to day

But I know in my heart

His Angels will stay

On the Edge

On the edge of life

With memories and fear

Not knowing what comes

Try to hold on to those dear

My life is so full

Of anger and hate

Why did he do it

Is this my fate

Sometimes wanting to die

The pain is so deep

Nightmares and fear

Keep me from sleep

Why do I let him

Hurt me again

He's done it before

When will it end

Not trusting the world

My life's on the edge

This has to stop

I'll get better I pledge

Then come the memories

So deep and so sad

I think I'm no good

I know I am bad

But then comes a spark

Of hope in my heart

That God is there

Taking me out of the dark

I hold on to him

With His love so deep

His light will guide me

My soul he will keep

I believe this is true

He'll take me away

He'll make me new

God while your listening

Help me be strong

Show me to love

That I've done nothing wrong

When life's on the edge

Put you're light in my heart

Help me remember

I can make a new start

Carry
