My name is Danielle and I am fourteen years old.About eight years I was molested by my mothers husband.The molestation went on for about a year.I had no idea that what he was doing was wrong,I was only around six years old.I remember one day while my mother was at work one of my friends had come over her name was Sabrina (she lived down the street ).Well while she was over my mothers husband wanted to play(that's what he told me we were doing)so he told us to choose what we were going to do ...It was between oral sex or anal sex.Well, I remember Sabrina had choose anal sex .That night she had gone home and told her nanny what had happened and the police called my house and said that it was my mother doing the molestation and of course she said no she did nothing of the sort.Well by that time I knew what he was doing was wrong, but at the same time i love him he was or I thought he was a father to me .So the next day while he was at work my mother and I were on our way tom the store. I told her what had happened and I remember she swung the car around and went back home . She called him at work and asked him to come home.Well when he i got there i was so scared of what was going to happen!!!She asked him if what i said was true and he said yes..Well of course my mother kicked him out..As he was walking out that door I ran in my bedroom and got my favorite teddy bear and gave it to him and I told him i would always love him(and i still do love him to this day).Later on that day my mother pressed charges against him he got nine to twelve years in prison,but he did not serve it he killed him self December 3 1990.Since then i have in and out of councling for about two years..I love to be able to talk to people without them knowing who you are and not being able to make fun of you!!!! I wish that someday i can help others like myself.But all I can do is pray Thank you so very much, Danielle Just live day by day!!!
