This picture was taken at the April 24th Erie Shores Girl Scout Council Recognition Brunch. Karen was presented the Appreciation Pin, SueAnn the Gold Award, Sharon Lakers Leader of the Year, Sharon the Appreciation Pin, Jennifer Gold Award, and Judy Erie Shores Juliette Low Award.Jane received the Lakers Volunteer of the Year pin but was not able to attend because of a precious commitment.
Troop 772 made Easter Baskets for Autumn Aegis Nursing Home. We purchased baskets and filled them with girl scout cookies and cookies that we purchased from Kiedrowski's Bakery and them we made chicks from plastic eggs. Each girl made a basket and they were distributed at the nursing home Easter Sunday!
Troop 758 made puppets of animals, suns, and flowers in November. They took these puppets and their singing voices to the Lorain Manor Nursing Home in South Lorain and entertained the delighted residents with: "You Are My Sunshine", "Old MacDonald", and "If You're Happy and You Know It". These 12 2nd graders and 1 1st grader will be doing about 3 more community service projects this school year.
On March 8, 1998, Troop 506 sponsered a Leader-Daughter Brunch. They served egg/cheese/meat croissants and sausage and pancakes. It was held at the Nordson Depot Community Room in Amherst. Here are a few pictures from the event!
