Cherry Loaf!


Ingredients!


PRE-HEAT OVEN 350*F


Grease, and flour a 9x13-inch loaf pan.


1/2 cup of butter, or that other stuff.
1 cup of sugar.
2 eggs.
1/2 cup of milk.
1 1/2 cups of flour.
2 teaspoons of baking powder.
1/2 teaspoon of salt.
1 cup of Marachino Cherries, cut in half.

Use some of your flour to flour your cherries, before adding to your mixture.

Cream butter, and sugar till smooth.
Add eggs.
Alternate your dry ingredients and milk into your butter-egg mixture.
Add your cherries.
Pour into your greased loaf pan.

Bake in a 350*F oven for 1 hour.
Test for done-ness by using a toothpick poked in the center of loaf.
Toothpick should come out dry!

This recipe is so good, that when I bake it I double the recipe.
For the holiday season, I use a combo of both the green and red cherries.
