Monica,
I am at work rereading EVE. It has blessed and uplifted me this week. Be proud to know that EVE is doing all God has created it to do. I am so proud of the work you and your writers are bringing forth. Keep up the excellent work.

Monica,
This issue was particularly inspiring to me. I was involved with a Christian man who not only left me hurting and bitter, but also left me pregnant. I'm a single, divorced Christian woman with one child, and I was recently laid off from my job because of the economy. I was out of control and wallowing in self-pity, instead of having true repentance to God, for my sin in the first place. Yet, like you, and the other Eve women, I decided that this situation was not unto my death, but yet for the glory of God. Since, then, my relationship with the Lord, has become glorious. I know He walks with me and talks with me. I thank God for giving me great strength out of my struggle. Thank you for letting God use you. May God continue to bless you and your staff.

Love, R. Simmons

May God continue to bless you as He inspires you to minister through poems and your newsletter. You are a true inspiration to me and I thank God for blessing me with you. This is a powerful newsletter and I am sure that many lives will be transformed with the articles enclosed in this powerful magazine.

Your Loving Husband,

Dear Monica:
The newsletter is truly awesome! Anyone reading it will know that it is inspired by God. I forwarded several articles to my daughter Tarina. I believe these articles will be witnessing tools for her to use with the students in her dorm and on campus. She has a friend that has just begun a bible study in the dorm. I sincerely sense that EVE can be a very prominent tool to spread a real word that touches women right where we are. I am so thrilled and I rejoice with you on the God given opportunity to fulfill your purpose in this life.

Love,
~M. Watson from Wichita, KS

A Love Story

Dear EVE,

I wanted to write about walking in love and showing unconditional love to those who are saved, but mostly to those who aren't. This is on my heart because most of the friends I've had in my life and those I have come in contact with, were not saved. Some have told me that other Christians bluntly told them, "You're going to hell!" And this seriously offended them and upset me. It upsets me to know that some Christians are actually turning people away from God, by condemning them and labeling them as hellbound from the, "Get-go." Even though , I know it is true that if you're not saved when you leave this earth, that's where you'll end up; however, we do not determine their final destination. Many events in the course of ones life can draw them closer to God. After all, we weren't born saved and we haven't been saved all of our lives.

In my life, I have found that showing unconditional love to my unsaved friends, despite their spiritual status, can draw them closer to the Lord and make them more ready to listen. Because of the way I live, they respect me as a Christian and some have changed their worldly ways. I did not condemn them or turn away from them for doing something wrong. I let them know that despite whatever they did, God still loves them, no matter what. They do have to make a change in their lives, to serve the Lord and not swerve from Him. We should always remember that God does not forsake us and neither should we forsake others, in their times of trouble. Psalm 9:10 says, "Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." (NIV) Just as the Lord does not forsake us, let us not forsake our friends or family who aren't saved. In their times of trouble, I feel that is an open door for God's unconditional love to be shown through our light.

"I thank God for opening this door of opportunity through Sis. Monica and EVE. God has always made a way for me to do the things I desire even when, in my eyes, there seemed to be no way that they were going to come true. Nevertheless, He is always on time! In my life, I've realized He is the One who never ceases to care, will always be there and Whose love will never fail. All you have to do is trust Him through the good, the bad and the ugly. He's real ya'll! God bless!" ~~Keena Chew
Keena is 18 years old and attends college in Maryland.

Howdy Ms. Monica,
This is so exciting! What a blessing to actually see your vision coming to pass. I am truly excited for you. I pray the Lord's choice blessings will rest upon you and your family forever and ever! I am so happy to witness all that God is doing in your life and I pray continued success in all of your future endeavors. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

In my prayers,
~Evangelist D. Carter from Killien, Texas

Tierra's Testimony

Dear EVE,
In the Fall issue of EVE, I read Tierra's article and it brought tears to my eyes. Here is this teenager, who is on fire for the Lord, and she has decided that no matter what, she will still serve the Lord. I thought that was awesome. My prayer for her is that God will continually use her.

Thanks for Your Honesty

Dear EVE,
Tierra's article caught my eye, because she decided that no matter what environmetn she's in, Godis able to stil ltouch her. God is always there! Her faith in God was a blessing to me. It touched me and let me know that even in my situation, things can change. Thank you Monica for being so honest in EVE.
