Phrases We Can Do Without

1. "You get on my nerves." (Proverbs 12:18, Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing)(NIV)

2. "You make me sick!" (I Peter 2:24, ...by Whose stripes, ye were healed) (KJV)

3. "These kids are so bad!" (Proverbs 22:6,...train up a child in the way he should go...") (KJV)

4. "I never seem to have enough money around this time of the month," or "I'm so broke" (Phil. 4:19,...But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory...) (KJV)

5. "I can't seem to do anything right!" (Phil. 4:13,...I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.") (KJV)

6. "I'm always losing things!" or "I'm so absent minded." (Proverbs 10:7, The memory of the just is blessed...) (KJV)

7. "You've got to die from something, might as well be this." (3 John 2, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.) (KJV)

8. In joking fashion, "Oh God, you are so funny/crazy!" (Exodus 20:7, You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God...) (NIV)

Proverbs 13:3 says, "He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin."
