What's New: Our members are everything at ALT!
Behind ALT you will find a strong group of women, and our members are as diverse as they come. There are mothers, accountants, home-makers, fire fighters, teachers, managers, you name it! They come from different countries, big cities, small towns, everywhere. One thing they all have in common is their love for ALT, and the sense of community if provides. Here are just a few of our members. Read on to see what they are all about!

LOUISE

My name is Louise Cannon and I am the list owner and moderator for A Lady’s Touch. I have several likes and they are calligraphy, playing tennis, reading, my puter, and relaxing. My dislikes are housework, ignorance, and wannabes. As for my job I am a firefighter. My thoughts on ALT is that there are great people, good topics, and of course…no men! Check our the link to my calligraphy newsgroup, which is under MEMBER WEBPAGES, where members post examples of their work. Some of it is wonderful, some of it ho hum, but its worth a look!

TRACY

My name is Tracy. I'm a single mother and full time nursing student. I live in Southeast Tennessee. I like Historical Romance (namely Beatrice Small), Nascar, and anything involving the care and health maintenance of children. I love infants because they are so sweet (and I can send them home). I have two boys; Jason is 9 and Chase is 5. They are the reason I'm nearly going crazy with this whole nursing school thing. I currently do not work. I think I have enough on my plate these days. My SO lives in Chicago, some 675 miles away. I hate it, but such is life until I'm finished with school. He's really good to me and to both of my boys. A Lady’s Touch is where I come to vent about pretty much my whole life! LOL Mainly I vent about my ex-husband, and occasionally but rarely my SO. It's where I get some wonderful, "bedroom" and I use that term loosely because it's not the only place I use it, ADVICE. I hope the other women here enjoy it as much as I do!

WENDY
My name is Wendy. My likes are truthful people, jokes, quiet nights, and dining outside. My dislikes are cleaning and pokey drivers. I’m a stay at home mom and I volunteer at my children’s elementary school. As for ALT, this is a great place for women to talk about men, or anything else they want to.

DEB
My name is Debra Hauser, but I mostly go by Deb. My likes are the freedom of expression, and the availability of info on the Internet. My dislikes are the male fakers pretending to be women, and getting up in the morning to go to work. I’m a Sales Manager for a small software company. My thought on A Lady’s Touch is that this is a great place where real women talk about what its like to be female in this country at this time. There is often disagreement (hooray!) because all women are different, but there is tremendous respect for other’s opinions (we’ve all earned our dues).
