Who do practise sex most often?
"(Los Angeles) A gallup research done among american students challanges the myths on who is having sex more often. The gallup "Sex on Campus", recently published by Random House, shows that the lesbians are the ones who says they have sex most frequently. Among the lesbian receipitants 52 percent acclaimed that they have sex at least 2 or 3 times a week, while the comparative figure among heterosexual women was 35 percent. Only every fourth heterosexual man (26 percent) has sex as often as lesbians, and gay men seems to have less sex according to this gallup - as only 20 percent among homosexual men have sex as often as 2 or 3 times every week."

By Bille As Circle of Fire (COF) decided to charge the registered users of Active Worlds, we have reached a new époque of this 3D virtual world. To most of us the fee is not too high, so nobody ought to be forced to leave AW, and as also less seriouse users will have to pay to get their work protected, vandals will probably stay away. Persons who don't want to pay the charge can still visit and interact in AW but their buildings might be deleted by registered users. However - will this effect Pink Village? COF expects the fee to guarantee a better world as more of the users now will care about AW, and the same notion will probably be just as valid for Pink Village. A few of the registered PV citizens have still not built anything in PV and most of us have never even seen them around. In the future I think that AW (including PV) will attract mainly active persons. As PV is supposed to be an active community, this might help us to make it better:) We need active citizens to initiate some events and happenings, but we also need guests and visitors, and new users that don't want to build can still be registered as PV-friends and still get on our mailinglist. AW's future is so bright - no wonder that most avatars wear shades these days:) The registration allows cleaning up vandals' work and to delete old not completed houses that were given up by it's owner. Concerning PV there might be a few citizens who don't want to register at COF, and therefor their lots can be acquired by others after about 2 months. If you have built anything and are planning to leave your lot, please inform PVC so that we can save your building or at least avoid that strangers get the possibility to build in our area without becoming a PV citizen. Everybody should check out COF's homepage often, and also keep an eye on "New World Times". PV Council will try to keep you informed, but we can not mail you all the information there is. We are sure that these changes together with the recently upgraded browser will make AW a much better place for all of us, and even PV might become a more interesting arena for gay and lesbian users. By Bille Who are the citizens and friends of Pink Village? In the former Post Office you could find one sign for every PV citizen or friend, linked to the persons e-mail address. As we now are 27 persons registered, the walls got just too packed, and it was even getting worse to find the name you were looking for. To solve this the signs have been removed and will October 20th be replaced by a brand new "PV Citizens & Friends" webpage that can be downloaded at the Mail Office (Town Hall) or from any of the blue "PV Info" stands. The page gives you various information on all citizens, like e-mail address, address in Pink Village, real life address, Icq uin, date of birth, and more. Every person listed on this page has been informed in advance, so no "outing" here. And besides - not all the persons listed are gay or lesbian, they are just happy to be a part of Pink Village. "PV Citizens & Friends" webpage. The information is not sorted by names, but it should be easy enough to find the one you are looking for by using your browser's search tool. So - will all new citizens automatically get on this list? Yupp, but if you dislike a list like this you can prevent it by telling upon registration, and anyway you can change the information anytime, or choose not to get all details spread on the web. By Bille As former PVC member Lacerta has left Pink Village, her chair at the PVC might now be given to any other citizen that wants to pay a little extra interest in the development of our gay and lesbian community. According to PV Law the Council shall consist of 3 persons, Mayor included. As Mayor has got a double vote it is important that both the two Councillor's chairs are taken. As a PV Councillor you will be discussing PV's future, planning cultural happenings and more. You will even get your own office at the Town Hall! This is not expected to take much of your time though, as PVC is not responsible to building new sights no more than the other citizens. If nobody are interested the PVC will go on without the 3rd member until January 1998, when a new PVC will be settled. By Bille The PV Town Hall at 2222s 2222e 222 was the very first building that were raised in Pink Village January 97. Everyone knows that the art of building improves after some exercise, and even making a plain drawing before the work starts will be helpful. The former Town Hall was built with no such plan, and was therefor not very functionally equipped. Town Hall viewed from Queer Sqare. In October this building has been reconstructed in order to get room for more information and offices. The former Post Office has been reduced to a small Mail Office where the personal signs will be replaced by the "PV Citizens & Friends" webpage. The Info Centre has doubled it's size and contains now much more information. The maps are still there, but also some more text and stands. New is the show room containing the wall, tree and flower that are typical objects in Pink Village's profile. You will also find a brand new Bulletin board with brief ads and information, some of these not to be found anywhere else. You might also put a note on this board by mailing Mayor Bille or any of the PVC members. Remember to check back on the Bulletin board pretty often. Upstairs you will find the Town Hall's Reception (the secretary is currently on vacation...), the three PVC members' offices, a lounge, and also the Council's Chamber. The balcony has now grown three times larger! Have a seat in the Council's Chamber. The new Town Hall will be officially reopened October 20th at 21.00 VRT. By Bille Another great exhibition is opening at Gallerie 2222 October 11th at 22.00 VRT (23.59 GMT). This time you will be watching a serie of nice pictures where no alive persons are featured, but human figures
The pictures are presented by "Preject X", photos by toto. You will not like to miss "The Cave"! You've seen nothing like it elsewhere in AW! The subject of this exhibition goes well together with the new PV club "Chains Club" that will be opened November 9th. At the opening there will be served beer and snacks, and you are welcome to discuss your favorit picture! Please note that the pictures are XXX-rated so please do enter only if sex between men don't offend you! |
