Chinchillas are pretty intelligent creatures! As you can see in the 2 pictures, we are trying to get Adam to stand on his 2 hind feet. Chinchillas can be trained to do tricks such as standing on 2 feet. They can run from 1 end of the palm onto the other end of the palm via the shoulder. (:

Here, Jess managed to get Adam to stand up by supporting his 2 front paws. [sigh] He can do it on his own quite frequently when he's begging to go out or begging for some titbits (treats). He's quite cute when he begs. He would put his nose outside the cage in between the rails! Just like a jailbird!

This is really pure temptation from Jess! She is holding his favourite raisin in her fingers. Adam had really no choice but to stand up to reach it! Hee!
