SIncere and passionate dude, looking for a lover...

There is nothing more precious in life than the love found in friendship. In fact, my feelings are that friendship is the foundation of all things good in life.

Aside from sharing in both the good times and the bad times in life, friendship is about caring, understanding, acceptance and forgiveness. It is something that we should cherish, for life without it is so empty. All it takes is a certain magnetism and the willingness to give it freely.

It is ever so special to receive an unexpected telephone call from a friend who wants nothing more than to say hey...

Ironically, sometimes the friends who you've always been there for and who mean the most to you are the ones who ignore your needs and treat you the worst.

WIth my love to you both!

If man is to be judged by the friends that he keeps, then I shall gladly be judged by mine! Lord have mercy on me!!!!

FRIENDS
by Steve G - January 9th, 1999

You always take the time to listen,
and this is one of many things that makes a friendship glisten.

Being there with a willingness to share,
is yet another way to show that you truly care.

You keep up your faith, trust and understanding in times of trouble,
for without these things a friendship would surely disintegrate into rubble.

Perfect is something that we realize that none of us are not,
so we forgive and forget without giving it much thought.

We open ourselves to to potential disappointments and pains,
but we are willing to stand together no matter how hard it rains.

We accept the times when one of us has not done as well as they should,
because we know in our hearts that true friendships are the foundation of all things good.

So even if you are feeling complete and total despair,
I want you to know, my heart will always have a place for you there.

friend·ship (frend'ship) The ability to accept someone for what they are, for better or worse. To attempt to understand their point of view. To listen to and accept the needs of the other. To appreciate and respect the feelings of another. Someone who discusses differences in opinions, rather than to criticize out of hand. Someone you enjoy, honor and love just because they are in your life.

Being someone's true friend is not an easy task. As we are all unique individuals. We will not always see eye-to-eye with our friends, we will have differences, we will have disagreements, and we will have moments of uncomfort. The friends that are the most valued are those that stay with you through thick and thin, realize that we all have our shortcomings and endure the difficult times as well as enjoy the good times.

The keys to a lasting friendship are: Communications, attempting to understand, forgiveness and acceptance.

Keeping one's feelings bottled up is a sure fire path to disaster. When in doubt, communicate!

I'd better like what you write me bitch!  Don't look Ethel!!!!
