I was born on a farm, in the region of the Rift Valley in Kenya. At the age of 3, my family took flight, fearing for our lives. The Mau Mau uprising had begun, and Kenya was a dangerous place to live.We landed up in England and lived there for 8 years, most of my family returned to Africa. Firstly, residing in Zambia, then Zimbabwe and eventually settling in Cape Town, South Africa. Where I spent my teens. After school, I returned to England and from there I worked and travelled throughout Europe.I worked in Greece, looking after yachts and sailed quite abit. In Holland I worked for a newspaper as a layout artist. And did various jobs in England. I returned to Cape Town. for a holiday. but ended up living here again.I'me working in Cape Town as a DTP designer, for a small company, but I'm hoping to get more involved in web design.I try to take a holiday abroad every couple of years. My last trip, which was 3 years ago was to Thailand, Malaysia, and Signapore. Have a look at my travel section for more detail and tips.
