Cancerman, or Cigarette Smoking Man, is a character of tern seen in The X-Files. He has no name, but he certainly has power. He seems to be above the FBI, and the government. Barely nobody knows of his existence. Or his missions. He has showed his power in the past by assassinating JFK, and using Richard Krycek as a puppet to get at Mulder. He then ordered Krycek to kill Dana Scully. But, in the dark of her apartment, Krycek can't tell that the person in the room is Melissa Scully, not dana Scully. He shoots and kills Dana's sister. Cancerman, in an effort to dispose of this accident, places a bomb in Krycek's car, but he manages to escape. Over the years Cancerman has showed his power, and reared his ugly smoke-filled face just at the moment Mulder is close to the truth.
