SPIDERHUNT (4 parts saga)

The Sensational Spider-Man # 25

SESP#25 In a hidden laboratory, somebody is beeing prepared to wears the Green Goblin uniform again. The mercenary villains couple, Aura and Override, plans to capture the Spider-Man and get the reward. A group of gunmen buys a powerful arsenal, in the intention of capturing the Spidey. Flash Thompson is hired as a personal assistent for Norman Osborn.

With a five million dollar bounty already on his head, Spider-Man is hunted for almost everybody all over New York. When he is trying to save a girl in a firing building, he is attacked by Override and Aura. The Spider wins this first fight, and fled away, after beeing shot by dozens of people in the top of the buildings.

Later, in the estate of Osborn, during a discussion between Norman and Liz, a misterious person opens the little Normie's room window and he says: "Daddy?"

A short time later, in the Manhattan's streets, the Spider-Man is attacked by that gunmen group. During the struggle, Aura and Override join the hunt and a rookie policeman appears. Caught in the cross fire, the policeman and Aura are severement hurt. Spidey take the cop to the hospital and Override cries for Aura, while a new police group arrives, arresting the gunmen.

Coming back to home, Peter Parker finds Mary Jane watching tv, the news are about the 5-year-old Normie Osborn have been kidnapped by the Green Goblin.

The Amazing Spider-Man # 432

Despite the danger of appearing in costume, the wall-crawler went out in search of young Normie, the grandson of his greatest enemy, Norman Osborn, who had been kidnapped by the Green Goblin.

Joe Robertson finally leave the Daily Beagle Newspaper, after having packed his belongings and said goodbye to his ex-colleagues.

Spider-Man was viciously attacked and beaten by his enemy, the Black Tarantula, whose objective was to please the New York crime bosses by bringing them the mask of Spider-Man.

Left in an alley, with his mask totally torn, Spidey wakes up from his unconscient state to face a crowd of people with the intention of capturing him. He escapes with a long jump, crawls up the walls to the rooftop of a building, where he turns the pray of the government agent called Shotgun.

ASP#432

Peter Parker Spider-Man # 89

PPSM#89 Norman Osborn hires the Punisher to capture the Spider-Man, saying that he knows about his grandson kidnapping. Spidey escapes from the Shotgun fire and makes a webbing mask to hide his identity.

When the wall-crawler is swinging over the city using his webs, he have it cut by a bullet shot by the Punisher and he falls in the East River. He is save for a new character, Clarence Felding, who intents to take him to the cops and rakes the reward, but doesn't is capable of doing this, because of his good heart.

Spidey was besieged by bounly hunters, though thug Jimmy Six, crime boss Fortunato's rebel son, came to his rescue to erase a debt he had to the webspinner. Jimmy even escorted Clarence Felding away from the scene of danger.

Cornered in a warehouse, the amazing arachnid faces down the group of bounty hunters, the Punisher and Shotgun, until the Green Goblin appears and tosses an explosive device inside, blowing up the warehouse.

The Spetacular Spider-Man # 255

A weary Spider-Man emerges from the ashes of the destroyed warehouse, carrying the Punisher and the group of bounty hunters trapped in webbing. He is welcomed by the police, trying to arrest him. He fled away, and so does the Punisher, promising himself to avenge from Osborn, because he had lain to him.

Aura appears in a hospital bed, observed by his worried husband Override, that have now the obligation of capturing the Spider-Man to collect the reward and be able to pay the medicals bills.

Meanwhile, the spectacular Spider-Man returns home, tired, hurted, talks to Mary Jane and falls on a deep sleep in his bed.

The Green Goblin invades the Daily Beagle newspaper offices and threatens Norman Osborn, asking him a ten million dollar rescue to be paid for his grandson Normie.

Norman Osborn takes the money to the Brooklyn Bridge, backed up by the police. However, the Goblin tosses bombs on the policemen, after picking up the money bag and Osborn. The Spidey shows up, persecuting the Goblin. Override, on the top of a building, observes the scene and using his power, takes control of the Goblin's flying device, making he falls into a closed store. Spider-Man fight against the villanous Green Goblin. He escapes and heads to his hidden place, where he have left Normie. The wall-crawler goes after him, they start a struggle that ends with the collision between the Goblin and a junk pile, blowing up the place.

Meanwhile, Clarence Felding saves the little Normie Osborn, and later, receives from Norman Osborn one hundred thousand dollars as a reward. The same amount is given to Greg Herd, as known as Override, as if he had saved the industrialist from the Goblin's clutches.

This edition ends in a encounter of Osborn with the survived Green Goblin and Dr. Angst, in a hidden laboratory.
