Here today and gone tomorrow
To gain someone's trust
Is a precious gift
To have someone's trust
Is even better
When someone trusts you
They are a true friend
When you trust someone
You will be there for them
Even when they do things you don't approve of
You will love them always
When you trust someone it makes you vulnerable
But in order to grow we must do this
In order to learn to love we must trust
Trust is never questioning what you are told
To know they are true in their heart
To know they would never intentionally hurt you
And the the feeling is returned, you would never hurt them
When you are trusted you are never questioned
And made to feel that these things are wrong
You will be questioned with love and concern
Your happiness becomes of great concern
To the person who trusts you
Trust is an important part of any relationship
Be it lover, friends, siblings, parents or child
Without trust the walls of the relationship crumble
To earn trust always be honest
Treat others as you want to be treated
Put others happiness before your own
Do for others from your heart, not what you can get out of it
The greatest act of trust is to offer your heart
To trust another to treat it with love and respect
To hold it close to theirs
To perhaps offer theirs back as a friend or lover
But mostly to cherish it as you cherish them.
