HI there.. my name's Julian Chan. Thanks again for coming to my page. This particular section is basically about myself and what my interests are. I'm currently a 3rd year student majoring in Accounting and Information Systems in Curtin University of Technology, and my main love is saxophones and jazz... which is what this page will talk about mostly. Well, here's a (almost) full layout of myself: I'm currently doing 3rd year (as of July 26th 1999) majoring in Accounting and Information Systems (kind of odd for a sax player?) in Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia. I love music in general, but I focus more on jazz music, as my focal point of sax-playing. I find playing the saxophone and learning jazz to be a deepening, yet tough experience. Being Asian, absorbing jazz has never been an easy thing to do. Most importantly, I feel that playing the saxophone is the best way to beat the hell out of stress.. and a good way to relax! Playing the sax, I can express myself in ways words normally can't describe, and it was (and still is) one of few things which gives me pleasure in my life. Right now, I'm just starting out on flutes as sort of a doubling instrument. Check out my SAX!! and JAZZ!! pages.... I also love computers and dealing with computers and especially the Internet. A lot of my time is also spent on the Internet, surfing for music and non-music stuff as well as chatting with my friends via IRC and ICQ. It's sort of a good way to make friends, although you've never seen them before. You can check out My Internet Life.. pages and find out! That's all about me so far,
I guess. You can find out in details in some of the pages by
clicking on some of the links on the left side of this page. Well,
of course, if you would like to find out personally about me, do feel free
to e-mail to me, and you're always
welcome to ask me or give suggestions to me!
You are visitor number . Thanks for stopping by.. do come back again!
